We all came back home today. Very tiered but have a lot of positive thoughts about all trip. I want to come back to the Holy Land.
I'll write later my thoughts about all trip, what I remember the most and other staff.
Just for now I want to tell that I'm SO thankful that God gave me this opportunity to go and be on the Holy Land. I hope a lot of things will be changed.
Thanks for all of you that you read this blog and follow me on this trip.

Day 11
Today was the last full day in Jerusalem.
We visited Elion Hill, then Gethsemane garden, the Holocaust museum – Yad-Vashem (don’t know how to spell it) and from the outside saw Golgotha Mountain.
Through the entire trip we tried to stop somewhere for prayer or just quiet time but it wasn’t too little. I wish we had more time to think and be alone with God. I understand in my mind that Jesus lived here and on that or this place was this or that action but sometimes can’t deeply get through it in my heart. It’s made me sad.
The Gethsemanes Garden is the one place, where you can tell, for sure, that it’s the garden where Jesus prayed the night before His death. In the garden we prayed with family near stone where Jesus prayed that night. And then my father read from Gospel of Luke about this event and we prayed together. This all touch me a lot. At this place Jesus prayed for people, nation, for disciples, He prayed for us.
We walked a lot at Holocaust museum and I was tiered at the end and not all information I could get. After mission trip to India I’m paying attention to children. I saw a lot of children pictures during this period. You hardly can imagine all this. This museum is heavy because you can see everything and hear the true story of these terrible years. Around 6 million died on Holocaust and 1,5 million are kids.
The Golgotha Hill was closed, so we were near it. It’s Arabic place (region) and a lot of people, children, liter, and bad smell. This place was closed for Sunday, so, no chance to see it. But it’s a stimulus to come back.
We had communion at the place where Mary met Elisabeth. And at the same service, pastors blessed Irina, who had baptism in Jordan.
Tomorrow is leavening at 3.30 am and in the evening I’ll be at home. Can’t believe that paradise is going toward the end.
In the evening for the last time I prayed at the Western Wall.
P.S. it was interesting and funny situation today. We went out of our bus and went to the building of museum. I spoke with Vika and told her that it would be great to meet our first bus driver (he was the best driver we had) and can you imagine, after two buses we saw our first bus driver. I was amazed. Hahah It was so unbelievable and unreal to see him somewhere. He recognized us and sad “good morning” in Russian. It was funny, that I just thought and here he is ☺

Day 10
It was hard day for me to understand everything in Jerusalem. I thought that here I’ll see places witch was for sure on that place. The entire trip we were told that a lot of historic places are probably there or there are several places of this or that. For example, there are 28 places witch you can call Sinai Mountain. But 4 of them are most truthful. For a lot of meaning places there are several opinions and each religion has there on place. There are 2 places for Golgotha – orthodox and Christian (protestant).
Till today I haven’t known that Jesus spent night in the prison. I thought that after Gethsemane garden they went all over the places. It was new for me, when I say the prison, where He stayed till the morning.
From the early morning till the late evening we were walking around Jerusalem without any transport, just by foot. Our old people and pregnant lady were everywhere with us. They are heroes! We went to the central Synagogue because it’s Sabbath today. Then we visited temple of Jesus Christ tube and orthodox Golgotha, Zion Hill, went though the Old City of Jerusalem, were at the Western Wall, saw place where Peter renunciated and house of Caiaphas, went though the Via Dolorosa street, in the room where was the last Lord’s super with disciples, the place where Maria (Jesus’ mother) supposed to born, at the door where Peter came after God took him from the tube and showed the way out of the gate and in David’s tube.
For sure they have one place for Gethsemane garden, temple hill, Elion hill. We’ll be there tomorrow.
All this misunderstandings with places make me confused and tiered. But it’s history and politics between different denominations. For sure I know that Jesus was here in this city.
The last full day in Jerusalem and whole Israel left.
Again I spent some time at the Western Wall for prayer. It's great that every day I can be there.

Day 9
First part of the day one at Jerusalem we spent in Bethlehem. We were at the place where Jesus was born, where were shepherds on the field and heard the news of Jesus birth. But we had another tour guide and excursion was confused. I hardly could hear him and not interesting information. Temple of Christmas (Birth of Jesus Christ) is rebuilding now. So it’s like a construction side. When we were in the cave, where Mary and Joseph stayed and Jesus was born, we sang Silent night and Joy to the World. But I can’t feel all the beauty because of the crowd of people and hurry tempo of excursion. And all places is probably the right one.
After this excursion we went for shopping.
In the evening we had service for the beginning of the Sabbath (on Saturday). Host of the house (wife) burnt Sabbath candles. Then we blessed bread and grapes juice. And after this blessed children. For almost 2 hour we heard about Saturday and Sabbath.
Some thoughts from all day:
Our prayer should be based on faith. It’s the main thing, which we must have, when we’re going to pray.
Sabbath it’s mustn’t be just on Saturday. It can be whenever but the meaning is important. If it’s Sunday for us, we shouldn’t do any work and give this day for God. It’s not about the day of the week; it’s about goal and meaning.
In the evening again we went to the Western Wall. Almost on one was there. But I had time and place to pray and sing.
Next day is full of excursion. Again and again praying for God’s work and peace.

Day 8
Finally we got to Jerusalem. It’s the forth hotel for the last one and a half week. It’s reminded me summer camp in Saratov, where we haven’t slept several nights on the same place.
In the morning I asked our tour guide to go to another beach of Red Sea to see fished. And we did. I tried to swim with mask and it was so much fun to see all this fish and everything under the water.
For the rest of the day, we’re on our way to Jerusalem. Our bus drove though desert and we got to the green land. We did several stops to see some places from the Old Testament. For me it’s hard a little with history and these historic places. One place I remembered, it’s the place, where David killed Goliath. We saw these mountains. During our trip we were following the way of Israel people, when they went through the desert. On the stops we could see amazing view. And rain is helping to open the ancient parts of land, historic places.
We got to the hotel after 6 pm and went to dinner. Our family is leaving together and it’s like a big apartment. All rooms a different in this hotel, on each level and side. We did a little tour and excursion to other rooms ☺
Is called here. It’s about 70F-80F. After south part of Israel and north it’s a big difference. We were – 400 m above the sea level, now it’s 800 m higher. But we have warm clothes ☺ We went to the old city of Jerusalem. And were near West Wall and temple mountain. Can’t believe that we’re already here. I spent some time for prayer at the West Wall yesterday. And saw Muslim temple. 3 days we’re going to be here.
P.S. we don’t have free wi-fi here at the hotel, so please forgive me, if I won’t be able to upload post. And please pray for God’s guideless here, that I can hear His voice.

Day 7
It’s been 8 days since we left Moscow. For this time we have seen a lot of places, more then other groups for this period of time. I like this land, it’s landscapes, plants, seas, mountains, people, history (when I can remember it hahaha).
Today we went to the place called Timna Park. It’s incredible place where you can go into geology earth. There are unique plants of desert, antelopes, mountain goat, exclusive kinds of stones and other interesting staff.
Today I climbed everywhere, whenever and wherever I can. I was in each hole ☺ I like climbing now ☺ It’s really interesting to climb up and be on the top of the mountain or hill. Several times it was hard to jump from the hill or go down but someone helped me. So thankful for this. We were on the place, where Moses put up the metal snake. And the most interesting place was tabernacle of Jehovah, witch Moses made in the wilderness. In this park they made the same tabernacle, witch you can read in the Old Testament about. It’s great that you can go into and see everything with your eyes and not just read.
The rest of the day we spent on the Read Sea. Want to swim more. But I’m a little upset that I can’t swim with mask. One time when I try today to swim with mask, I forgot that I can’t breath with mouth in the water and drank this salty water. It was disgusting. But I want to learn how to do this and see fishes in the water.
Tomorrow in the morning we’re leaving to Jerusalem where we’ll spend the rest of our time. More tours and excursions is coming.

Day 6
Today there were just several places. The most important one is Masada. I went up by foot with 22 more people. We walked for 40 min under hot sun and there was no path and road. But it was great experience. Jesus was in desert for 40 day under hot sun, without food. It’s amazing few from the top of the mountain. Hills and mountains, small towns like small oasis and desert and other God’s creation.
In the beginning of the day and at the end we were on the factory, where is produced Dead Sea products and jewelry.
During all our way to Eilat from Jericho I can see God’s creation. Most of that way was desert and mountain. But God has so much wisdom and He’s an artist, He designed everything in a special way.
And again we went to the Dead Sea. This time it was clean and without mud ☺
In the evening we went to Read Sea and walked on the beach. Saw different gorges hotels.
Everything was great till the evening. Please pray for my relationship with close people. It’s hard and has some problems in understanding. I don’t know what to do.
Let then a week left.

Day 5
We’re in desert. Yes, it’s real desert. But our place, where we stayed for 2 nights, it’s like paradise or oasis. Everywhere is mountains, sand, dry land and our Almog Holliday Village is green and very nice. Almog – it’s a Bedouin village.
Today was hard day. On the way to Jericho, we stopped at the place where there is a tree witch Zachery used to climb and see God. And there is a small church near this place – monastery of prophet Elijah where we were. It’s orthodox church.
Then we were in Jericho, we went to the place where Jesus was being tempted by devil for 40 years. And we went up on the mountain. It was 500 m (0,4 miles). Hot sun, now shadow, not a lot of water, no food. And like this for 40 days. It was time for Jesus to be with His father, trust Him, and be strong. I went up to the mountain and I was hot, want to drink, been too tiered. And Jesus spent 40 days like this, without food, at hot sun and at the same time he prayed and talked to His Father. On the top of the mountain we all who went sit and sang about God’s greatness, that He is creator and great God, that He’s higher then mountain and deeper then oceans. This way is like a symbol of temptation. Hard, hot and with difficult. And went you’re on the top, you win this temptation.
After this place we went to Qumran. Our tour guide told a lot of historic facts about this place.
Finally, we got to Dead Sea. It’s my first experience. I was afraid that I’d get salty water into my eyes or something like this. But it was fun ☺ We spent around 2 hours there till the darkness.
When we came back we told thanks to our driver, for his good job because his left us. Tomorrow we’ll have another bus and driver.

Day 4
Today we left Teberia and moved to another place.
We start our day with visiting Nazaret. Frirst was Cana of Galilee where was the first sign by Jesus with vine at the marriage. It's interesting place, small streets made with stones. Our tour continue and we went to the place, where Joseph and Maria lived. Amazing buildings of tempels. We when to one room and just read the Bible together and prayed.
But the most interesting and awesome place was Jourdan. It was Sunday and from the morning til that time we haven't time just to sit, relax and meditate about God. On the way to that place our pastors told about this place and ask some questions – do we need of not to go into Jourdan river. And then we just start to sing songs. All 50 people. So great feelings that we have this quite time and kind of service. When we got to the place, our pastor Pavel and Semeon decided to make short service. I just need some service. It's unusual for me to be out of church on Sunday – no songs, no sermon. So we did this and it's help a lot for many people to check there life. And when we've done, one lady from our group came to my father and ask questions about baptism. Finaly she decided to get baptised here in Jourdan river. (She actually was born in Orthodox family and was baptised when she was little and she didn't understand why she need to baptised one more time.) It was happy time for all of us. My father did his first baptism in Jourdan river ☺☺☺
Til this day we were running everywhere and try to see everything and not a lot of time to just sit and think or pray and spend time with God. On the way back we were shearing some thoughts about this trip, what God tells us and how our mind had changed.
In the evening again we spent some time with my friend talking about our churches and families. I'm glad that we can spend this time together.
Next 2 days we're staying at the bedouin's place.

Day 3
Today was interesting day as always ☺
We left hotel at 8 am and drove to Philip’s Caesarea where Jesus was with His disciples before resurrection. On that place He blessed Peter. And after this Jesus went to Tabor.
Can't believe how many days He spent to get to the Tabor. We drove around 1 or more. And when we saw this Tabor Mountain, it’s hard to go up by foot. Can you imagine that Jesus did this way and came up on the mountain and then He started to pray. Now I can understand why Jesus’ disciples fell asleep after the way. But Jesus had strength to pray. It’s unbelievable.
On Tabor Jesus transfigured. It’s a high mountain and very beautiful few from it to one and another side of the mountain. We made pause and read about transfiguration and prayed that God gives up this opportunity to be there. And then we started to move and sing the famous Russian Baptist hymn about Tabor mountain.
Yesterday we spent time at the fall near Caesarea. It’s awesome. Clean water, great view and shadow. God is a great Creator!
On the way we were told about different facts and history moments.
It was interesting to hear about shofar. It’s interesting that this instrument has different sound and each sound has their own meaning.
First Tkea – it’s long lingering sound – you proclaim, who God is and that He’s a Kind on the Throne.
Second – Shvarim – it’s 3 deep moan or breathe. You continue to think about God and check your self, may be you did something wrong.
Third – Troa – it’s short sound, like an alarm clock. It’s kind of waking up sound. If you sleep spiritually, this sound will awake you.
Last one – Tkea – you confirm that God is King and you check yourself. And you glorified God.
This Shofar sound repeats several time and with different combination. Shofar – it’s proclaiming God and checking your self.
In the evening we had opportunity to see musical fountain. I like shows like this. It showed Biblical pics and great music.
Praise God for one more day!

Day 2 (full day)
It's actually 3ed day of our trip.
It's been long but great day. I woke up at 7am and now it's 10 pm. We ate too much today. In the begining we were told that only breakfast and dinner are included and no lunch. But today after the Lake of Galelee, we went to try fish and it was so much food there.
This day we spent near Lake of Galilee. We visited town of Capernaum, several cathedrals, rode on a boat on Galilee Lake, ate fish from there, were on the Beatitudes mountain, at the board of Israel and Jordanian (Palestine), place where Jesus prepared fish for His disciples We were late to go to the Jordan River.
I don’t feel that I’m getting a lot from these 2 days. I can’t hear clearly what our tour guide says. But today I will sit in the front and listen for him.
I thy to understand what rules they have and why for Sabbath. Can’t believe that I was on the place where Jesus said Beatitudes. This Sermon on the mountain follows me for some time. I’ve started to study it on the Courses at church, then at the Summer Camp in Saratov. And now I could be and sit on that place where Jesus told this.
It’s unbelievable how long they should go from one place to another. We’re riding on a bus but they waked everywhere. Amazing. It’s around 100 miles to Jerusalem from here. How many days they need to spend just to go there?
In the evening my friend and just went for a walk to the night Tiberius city. It was great time we spent together talking about life, ministry, Israel, our feelings.
Please, pray that God gives me strengths to write blog and have time and thoughts to do this.
