We all came back home today. Very tiered but have a lot of positive thoughts about all trip. I want to come back to the Holy Land.
I'll write later my thoughts about all trip, what I remember the most and other staff.
Just for now I want to tell that I'm SO thankful that God gave me this opportunity to go and be on the Holy Land. I hope a lot of things will be changed.
Thanks for all of you that you read this blog and follow me on this trip.

Day 11
Today was the last full day in Jerusalem.
We visited Elion Hill, then Gethsemane garden, the Holocaust museum – Yad-Vashem (don’t know how to spell it) and from the outside saw Golgotha Mountain.
Through the entire trip we tried to stop somewhere for prayer or just quiet time but it wasn’t too little. I wish we had more time to think and be alone with God. I understand in my mind that Jesus lived here and on that or this place was this or that action but sometimes can’t deeply get through it in my heart. It’s made me sad.
The Gethsemanes Garden is the one place, where you can tell, for sure, that it’s the garden where Jesus prayed the night before His death. In the garden we prayed with family near stone where Jesus prayed that night. And then my father read from Gospel of Luke about this event and we prayed together. This all touch me a lot. At this place Jesus prayed for people, nation, for disciples, He prayed for us.
We walked a lot at Holocaust museum and I was tiered at the end and not all information I could get. After mission trip to India I’m paying attention to children. I saw a lot of children pictures during this period. You hardly can imagine all this. This museum is heavy because you can see everything and hear the true story of these terrible years. Around 6 million died on Holocaust and 1,5 million are kids.
The Golgotha Hill was closed, so we were near it. It’s Arabic place (region) and a lot of people, children, liter, and bad smell. This place was closed for Sunday, so, no chance to see it. But it’s a stimulus to come back.
We had communion at the place where Mary met Elisabeth. And at the same service, pastors blessed Irina, who had baptism in Jordan.
Tomorrow is leavening at 3.30 am and in the evening I’ll be at home. Can’t believe that paradise is going toward the end.
In the evening for the last time I prayed at the Western Wall.
P.S. it was interesting and funny situation today. We went out of our bus and went to the building of museum. I spoke with Vika and told her that it would be great to meet our first bus driver (he was the best driver we had) and can you imagine, after two buses we saw our first bus driver. I was amazed. Hahah It was so unbelievable and unreal to see him somewhere. He recognized us and sad “good morning” in Russian. It was funny, that I just thought and here he is ☺

Day 10
It was hard day for me to understand everything in Jerusalem. I thought that here I’ll see places witch was for sure on that place. The entire trip we were told that a lot of historic places are probably there or there are several places of this or that. For example, there are 28 places witch you can call Sinai Mountain. But 4 of them are most truthful. For a lot of meaning places there are several opinions and each religion has there on place. There are 2 places for Golgotha – orthodox and Christian (protestant).
Till today I haven’t known that Jesus spent night in the prison. I thought that after Gethsemane garden they went all over the places. It was new for me, when I say the prison, where He stayed till the morning.
From the early morning till the late evening we were walking around Jerusalem without any transport, just by foot. Our old people and pregnant lady were everywhere with us. They are heroes! We went to the central Synagogue because it’s Sabbath today. Then we visited temple of Jesus Christ tube and orthodox Golgotha, Zion Hill, went though the Old City of Jerusalem, were at the Western Wall, saw place where Peter renunciated and house of Caiaphas, went though the Via Dolorosa street, in the room where was the last Lord’s super with disciples, the place where Maria (Jesus’ mother) supposed to born, at the door where Peter came after God took him from the tube and showed the way out of the gate and in David’s tube.
For sure they have one place for Gethsemane garden, temple hill, Elion hill. We’ll be there tomorrow.
All this misunderstandings with places make me confused and tiered. But it’s history and politics between different denominations. For sure I know that Jesus was here in this city.
The last full day in Jerusalem and whole Israel left.
Again I spent some time at the Western Wall for prayer. It's great that every day I can be there.

Day 9
First part of the day one at Jerusalem we spent in Bethlehem. We were at the place where Jesus was born, where were shepherds on the field and heard the news of Jesus birth. But we had another tour guide and excursion was confused. I hardly could hear him and not interesting information. Temple of Christmas (Birth of Jesus Christ) is rebuilding now. So it’s like a construction side. When we were in the cave, where Mary and Joseph stayed and Jesus was born, we sang Silent night and Joy to the World. But I can’t feel all the beauty because of the crowd of people and hurry tempo of excursion. And all places is probably the right one.
After this excursion we went for shopping.
In the evening we had service for the beginning of the Sabbath (on Saturday). Host of the house (wife) burnt Sabbath candles. Then we blessed bread and grapes juice. And after this blessed children. For almost 2 hour we heard about Saturday and Sabbath.
Some thoughts from all day:
Our prayer should be based on faith. It’s the main thing, which we must have, when we’re going to pray.
Sabbath it’s mustn’t be just on Saturday. It can be whenever but the meaning is important. If it’s Sunday for us, we shouldn’t do any work and give this day for God. It’s not about the day of the week; it’s about goal and meaning.
In the evening again we went to the Western Wall. Almost on one was there. But I had time and place to pray and sing.
Next day is full of excursion. Again and again praying for God’s work and peace.

Day 8
Finally we got to Jerusalem. It’s the forth hotel for the last one and a half week. It’s reminded me summer camp in Saratov, where we haven’t slept several nights on the same place.
In the morning I asked our tour guide to go to another beach of Red Sea to see fished. And we did. I tried to swim with mask and it was so much fun to see all this fish and everything under the water.
For the rest of the day, we’re on our way to Jerusalem. Our bus drove though desert and we got to the green land. We did several stops to see some places from the Old Testament. For me it’s hard a little with history and these historic places. One place I remembered, it’s the place, where David killed Goliath. We saw these mountains. During our trip we were following the way of Israel people, when they went through the desert. On the stops we could see amazing view. And rain is helping to open the ancient parts of land, historic places.
We got to the hotel after 6 pm and went to dinner. Our family is leaving together and it’s like a big apartment. All rooms a different in this hotel, on each level and side. We did a little tour and excursion to other rooms ☺
Is called here. It’s about 70F-80F. After south part of Israel and north it’s a big difference. We were – 400 m above the sea level, now it’s 800 m higher. But we have warm clothes ☺ We went to the old city of Jerusalem. And were near West Wall and temple mountain. Can’t believe that we’re already here. I spent some time for prayer at the West Wall yesterday. And saw Muslim temple. 3 days we’re going to be here.
P.S. we don’t have free wi-fi here at the hotel, so please forgive me, if I won’t be able to upload post. And please pray for God’s guideless here, that I can hear His voice.

Day 7
It’s been 8 days since we left Moscow. For this time we have seen a lot of places, more then other groups for this period of time. I like this land, it’s landscapes, plants, seas, mountains, people, history (when I can remember it hahaha).
Today we went to the place called Timna Park. It’s incredible place where you can go into geology earth. There are unique plants of desert, antelopes, mountain goat, exclusive kinds of stones and other interesting staff.
Today I climbed everywhere, whenever and wherever I can. I was in each hole ☺ I like climbing now ☺ It’s really interesting to climb up and be on the top of the mountain or hill. Several times it was hard to jump from the hill or go down but someone helped me. So thankful for this. We were on the place, where Moses put up the metal snake. And the most interesting place was tabernacle of Jehovah, witch Moses made in the wilderness. In this park they made the same tabernacle, witch you can read in the Old Testament about. It’s great that you can go into and see everything with your eyes and not just read.
The rest of the day we spent on the Read Sea. Want to swim more. But I’m a little upset that I can’t swim with mask. One time when I try today to swim with mask, I forgot that I can’t breath with mouth in the water and drank this salty water. It was disgusting. But I want to learn how to do this and see fishes in the water.
Tomorrow in the morning we’re leaving to Jerusalem where we’ll spend the rest of our time. More tours and excursions is coming.
